Guardian & Retirement Opportunity

UPDATE: 01/29/2023 we do have availability that we will consider for our guardian program. Please read through this and see their information below.

Our dogs are all part of our family in our home while we are raising them, training them, titling them and health testing them. Our goal has always been to ensure that they were part of our family and not in a kennel situation. As we have gotten busy training and traveling for hunt tests, we got to thinking that we could work with local families with our dogs to complete the health and training that we had in mind for the dogs so that they could be part of another loving family while still a part of our program. The dogs will be placed as adults or as puppies with the knowledge that we will be able to train, title, and health test them to our goal standards before they join our breeding program.

Our goal for this program is to meet the high standards we are requiring for our breeding dogs with not only health, but also training and titles on every one of our dogs. We can integrate our dogs into families were they will be spoiled and still remain part of our program. This means that they can be a part of their forever home from the start. We get attached to these dogs, so we will be picky.

WHY DID WE CREATE THIS PROGRAM?

  • This program allows families a very well behaved, trained, and health tested dog, which can be ideal for families that cannot dedicate the time to properly train a puppy.

  • It allows the dog a full time family, and they never have to be retired to someone they have never met.

  • This does still benefit us as the breeder, because we can continue to keep all of our dogs out of a kennel situation, but get them to the level that we require for our breeding standards and health testing while they are growing up with us and add them to our breeding program.

  • We can work together to make sure they integrate into the perfect family and have the perfect family to retire with while we are still working with them.

REQUIREMENTS

The family we are looking for...

  • must live within 2 hours of Gillette, WY.

  • must be willing to deliver the dog to us when needed for testing, eventing, or breeding.

  • must not have any other intact dogs.

  • must have a fenced yard and be willing to go on walks so the dogs receive adequate exercise to stay in shape.

  • must continue to feed the food we feed, which is Inukshuk 26/16.

  • must be willing to keep up with her necessary yearly vet visits, though we will manage all vet care necessary for pregnancies.

BENEFITS

  • There will be a reasonable deposit amount due before we place these dogs. This will be returned upon the first litter.

  • The home we pick will be paid for every litter we have with them while they are in their home.

  • All litters and puppy placement is done in our home.

  • Once the dog retires from our program, they will be fixed and retired at no cost to the retirement home.

READY AS A Co-OWN & Retired Dog
Kona
SHR Montana Sky Kona Tropical Hop JH CGC TKN VHMA

DOB: 05/31/2018

Size: 55#

Color: light golden

Kona is a puppy we produced out of our lovely Izzy and a male from the Ukraine. She has been raised here and is a big part of our program producing service dogs and therapy dogs. She has always been a house dog, so will need to remain a house dog as part of the family. Kona is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She is well trained and has all of her obedience as well as field titles. She loves to go duck hunting, but could go to a family that did not hunt. She is a lower energy dog, so would make a great family dog or therapy prospect. Kona currently has her started, junior, canine good citizen, trick dog, and home manners titles through UKC and AKC. She has all of her health testing with hips, elbow, eyes, cardiac, and genetic recessive genes.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?:

Kona is looking for her retirement home before we retire her. We are looking for a home that will allow us to have at least up to two more litters with her, as long as she does well with them. Our purpose for looking for her retirement home now is so that she can start to integrate into the home while she is young since we have finished the titles, but still remain in our program for the next couple years.

READY AS A Co-OWN & Retired Dog
Pixie
Faire's Foolish Pixie Trick CGC TKN VHMA
DOB: 04/01/2020

Size: 55#

Color: light golden

Pixie came to us from another breeder out of our own male, Trigger. She was raised with them, so came to us as an adult. She is incredibly sweet and loves attention. Pixie has been raised in the house so must go to a home that will continue to keep her inside as part of the house. She has basic obedience and would be a great family or therapy dog. Pixie currently has her canine good citizen, trick dog, and home manners titles through AKC.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?:

Pixie is looking for her retirement home before we retire her. We are looking for a home that will allow us to have at least 2 more litters with her (she has currently had one litter) as long as she does well with each. Our purpose for looking for her retirement home now is so that she can start to integrate into the home while she is young since we have finished the titles we wanted to do with her, but still remain in our program for the next couple years.
