Co-own (Guardian) Opportunity
We would love to work with some local families looking for a fully trained dog to join their family. These dogs are currently part of our family, so we will be picky. We will require a home visit prior to any of these dogs are placed.
Please check out our co-own page to see if you would be a good fit.
We are working with other breeders doing a lot with genetics right now, attempting to lower the COI in our breed and increase genetic diversity. This means we are having to keep multiple puppies to test and raise for our program. We are not a kennel and do not want to be a kennel, so all of our dogs are living in our home, which is great! We still believe that the dogs should be able to do what they were bred to do, so we like all of our dogs trained to do some sort of activity (hunt tests, dock diving obedience, etc) and we have found that it is easier to do that having them with us, but after they have been trained they would make fantastic companions.
We are looking to place some of our dogs after they have been trained, earned some titles, and gotten all of their health testing done.
The dog would live with the family, but participate in our program for 1-2 litters.
Cali
SHR Red Prairies Sunny Little Thing JH DN CGC TKN VHMA
DOB 3/5/2022
*We would consider a co-own home in Gillette or within 2 hours driving distance for Cali- She would stay in our program for at least 1-2 litters.*
Cali is a golden retriever with a happy attitude. She has never met a stranger. She loves to hang out in the house and be with her people. She has really good house manners and a good shut off. She loves kids and has been around cats. She is good with other dogs and would likely be a great therapy candidate.
Training-
-Basics & House manners- Cali knows all of her basics: sit, down, heel on / off leash, recall, kennel, travels well. She settles in the house well and can sleep in or out of a crate. She has been with us since she was a puppy.
-Field training- She has competed in hunt tests (primarily water fowl based) earning her JH and SHR. She has gone upland hunting with us for pheasants and is started, but would need more hunting trips to say she was an expert in upland.
-Sports- She has done dock diving and would be a great candidate for someone who wanted to get into sports as she is very trainable and would likely love agility or barn hunt.
Health Testing-Cali is fully health tested with excellent hips, normal elbows, eyes, and cardiac. She is also genetic tested and clear for all testable recessive genes.
There is an up front fee for Cali (which is returned upon the litters), which we would be happy to discuss on a phone call.
PLUS-
With the co-own, you would be paid $200 per puppy out of Cali. litters would be whelped and all selling/health guarantees/vet costs would be our job and expense. You would be responsible for regular expenses while she is in your care.

Bridger
HR Wyoming Sky Bridger's Dozing Thunder SH WCX DS CGC TKN VHMA FITB
DOB 11/03/2019
*We would consider a co-own home in Gillette for Bridger- We won't consider farther than 1 hour away*
This would be a tough one for us as we adore Bridger our sweet sugar face boy, but he would be so happy getting full attention from a family and we would absolutely consider that for him! He would go home with anyone. Bridger is an attention hog. He absolutely loves people and needs to be near them. He is a house dog through and through, so I won't consider any homes that don't have their dogs in the house fully. He would be a great candidate for therapy training and has produced multiple service and therapy puppies.
Training-
-Basics & House manners- Bridger knows all of his basics: sit, down, heel on / off leash, recall, kennel, travels well. He settles in the house well and can sleep in or out of a crate. He has been with us since he was a puppy.
-Field training- Bridger has advanced field training and is a fantastic upland dog, but will easily do waterfowl and geese. He has his SH/HR/WCX so can handle and run blinds well.
-Sports- Bridger loves to train and has done dock diving, which he loves. He would be a great candidate for someone who wanted to get into sports as he is very trainable and would likely love agility or barn hunt.
Health Testing- Bridger is fully health tested with good hips, normal elbows, eyes, and cardiac. He is also genetic tested and clear for all testable recessive genes.
There is an up front fee for Bridger (which is returned upon the litters), which we would be happy to discuss on a phone call.
PLUS-
With the co-own, you would be paid $500 per litter out of Bridger with our own females. All stud expenses and breeding would be at our house and covered by us. You would be responsible for regular expenses while he is in your care.
